Maria is the Creative Communications & Services Director for the Office of Advancement at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø. Prior to joining Advancement, she worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions Marketing and Inclusive Communications in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø and worked in progressively responsible communications and marketing roles at the University of Denver for eight years. Maria has also worked in nonprofit development and is an adjunct faculty member for the graduate program in Communications Management at University of Denver.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in French, international studies and theatre from Loyola University Chicago and her master’s degree in international and intercultural communication from the University of Denver, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Greece from 2006-2007.
