Francisca Antman is associate dean of faculty success in the College of Arts and Sciences, professor in the听, and research fellow at the听.听
She earned her PhD听in economics from Stanford University in 2007, MA听from Stanford in 2005, and BA听in economics from Harvard University in 2001.听She is a development and labor economist with special听interests in international migration and human capital investments as well as the allocation of resources within households and families.听Other recent projects explore the construction of race and ethnic identity as well as economic development in historical perspective.
From 2012 to 2017, she served on the听. She is currently serving on the听, as the co-director of the听, and served as the chair of the Scholarship and Awards Committee for the听from 2020-2022. She is president of the听听for 2024. She was on leave at the University of Carlos III (Madrid, Spain) during the 2022-23 academic year.
