Francisca Antman is associate dean of faculty success in the College of Arts and Sciences, professor in theÌý, and research fellow at theÌý.Ìý

She earned her PhDÌýin economics from Stanford University in 2007, MAÌýfrom Stanford in 2005, and BAÌýin economics from Harvard University in 2001.ÌýShe is a development and labor economist with specialÌýinterests in international migration and human capital investments as well as the allocation of resources within households and families.ÌýOther recent projects explore the construction of race and ethnic identity as well as economic development in historical perspective.

From 2012 to 2017, she served on theÌý. She is currently serving on theÌý, as the co-director of theÌý, and served as the chair of the Scholarship and Awards Committee for theÌýfrom 2020-2022. She is president of theÌýÌýfor 2024. She was on leave at the University of Carlos III (Madrid, Spain) during the 2022-23 academic year.
