Jackie Rivera is a medical lab scientist at UCHealth in their blood bank department. Her hands-on experience with cutting-edge analyzer technology sparked her interest in wanting to design and improve automated instruments for more accurate diagnostics and better treatment options. In addition, she also wants to focus on designing easy-to-use, at-home medical devices that cater to people from all backgrounds. When she isn't working, Jackie enjoys hiking, cooking, playing pickleball, and teaching her cat, Benji, how to fetch.
