Mariana Tamashiro graduated from the University of Sao Paulo with a Bachelor of ScienceÌýin design. In 2017, she joined MIT Media Lab as a visiting student to work on her undergraduate final thesis, "Design Principles for Creative Learning."ÌýWith more than sevenÌýyears working with learning experiences and having worked at Garagem Fab Lab (first independent Fab Lab in Brazil), her work focuses on creating low-cost creative learning kits to support children in making meaningful projects. She is also exploringÌýphysical computing and its possibilities with music and dance.
