The Â鶹¹ÙÍø faculty senate called an emergency session on Wednesday, April 17 at Old Main Chapel. More than 100 faculty members met to discuss their concerns regarding the sole finalist for CU's next president, as well as the search process and planned campus open forums. Â鶹¹ÙÍø Faculty Assembly Chair Bob Ferry led the session and search committee members, Joanne Addison, CU Faculty Council Chair and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Engineering Dean Bobby Braun fielded questions about the search processes. Retired faculty and retired faculty emeriti also attended the session and provided feedback. After much discussion members voted unanimously to approve two resolutions reflecting their concern about the candidate and the format for questions at the planned campus Open Forum.

Additionally, Â鶹¹ÙÍø and system student and staff governance groups passed a resolution with concerns about the planned forum as well. See the resolutions here:
