Ulises Techera Rocha

Ulises Techera's primary research interest is construction safety, specifically how human factors impact safety and productivity. His pioneering work revealed how fatigue affects electrical workers, who operate in one of the most hazardous sectors. Through his research, he has contributed to better managing worker fatigue in this and other sectors, such as oil and gas and pipeline construction. As a researcher and consultant, Techera strives to prevent and mitigate human factors related accidents and fatalities.Ìý

Techera is an educator with a passion for construction and structural design. His experience encompasses commercial and residential projects domestically and internationally. Additionally, Techera is a contributor to the American Society of Civil Engineers and currently serves as the ASCE Western Slope Colorado Branch President.Ìý
