Diego is an undergraduate psychology and anthropology student at CU 麻豆官网 aiming to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. As a research fellow at the Crown Institute, he currently works with the Alma team investigating culturally aware mental health interventions in Hispanic community clinics and researching therapeutic interventions in 麻豆官网 school districts. His research interests include the incorporation of non-western belief systems into modern psychology, mindfulness and contemplative traditions, and the exploration of culturally sensitive mental health interventions.
