Jeremy Ehly, AIA, IDSA is a Senior Instructor/Teaching Associate Professor teaching in Architecture and Product Design within the Environmental Design Program at CU 鶹. He teaches a wide range of studio and seminar courses spanning from Foundational to Senior Capstone Product Design Studios, Design-Build Architecture Studios, Theory and Ethics of Design, Graphic Design, Portfolio and 3D modeling courses.

Foundational to all of Jeremy’s teaching is a commitment to sustainability and understanding the ethical role the designer assumes in creating new products and spaces for a world already at capacity. His students approach wicked design problems through the lens of new products and spaces that aim to better our world and the collective human experience. Through his Design-Build work with students and community partners, he has created a lasting impact within our local Colorado community. Recent projects include a playground for a low income housing community in Denver as well as a mobile ticketing center and outdoor children’s classroom for the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Jeremy is a licensed Colorado Architect who earned his Masters Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2007. Upon Graduating he began working for the global Architecture and Planning firm MVRDV in Rotterdam before working as an Architect and Art Exhibition Curator for the Chicago Arts District. He moved to Denver in 2010 and began teaching at CU 鶹 while working on several award winning projects for local Architecture firms including Arch 11, Davis Partnership and RNL. His students’ 2018 Design Build project “Luminous Ticket Centers” won several local and international awards including the 2018 Denver Mayor’s Award and the 2018 International Architecture Master Prize in two respective Student categories.
