Jonathan Hanson is pursuing his Master's in Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Marco Nicotra. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from University of Idaho in 2017, and worked three years developing software for embedded test systems in the semiconductor industry before joining CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø.
His research interests focus on optimal control methods, and designing high-performance embedded software to leverage them in robotics and aerospace applications.
When he's not in the lab, he can be found running, rock climbing, learning a new board game, or keeping his guitar in tune.
