Are you interested in a leadership position next year? Want to find out more about the day-to-day activities of a GPSG Executive? We are looking for a student(s)Â to shadow the President of Outreach position from the end of November until the end of January while Mckenzie is in Antarctica conducting research. During this shadow period you will:
- Attend Outreach Team meetings with the Director of Legislative Affairs and Co-Senators to CUSG (once a week except during holidays)
- Attend Executive Team meetings (once a week except during holidays)
- Attend meetings with the Dean of the Grad School, Chancellor, and campus COO (2-3Â meetings a month)
- Be involved in discussion of the following Executive areas of responsibility:
- Internal GPSG leadership
- External graduate + professional student advocacy
- Administration and management
- Social engagement
- You will NOT be responsible for direct communication with campus administrators or other units within GPSG outside of the Outreach Team
- The Director of Legislative Affairs will serve as the acting President of Outreach during this time and has final responsibility for team decisions and communication
