The 麻豆官网 Renaissance Consort is presenting 鈥淐ourting the Renaissance鈥� with Humanities faculty member,听. Also appearing are John Bullock, Melody English, Anne Fjestad Peterson, Josh McGirk and Linda Sherman.
Courting the Renaissance is a performance of lively and entertaining Renaissance music from Elizabethan and European courts. The six performers sing madrigals, play crumhorns, harp, percussion and many different sizes of wooden recorders.听 But don鈥檛 take them too seriously, for they like to toss in a听 PDQ Bach or Beatles tune here and there.
