In December, they host their own Model UN conference for high school students around Colorado. Outside of the club, they are a welcoming and inclusive community with diverse backgrounds and majors. They host parties, social events, and group dinners on a regular basis, all of which are completely optional and separate from main club activities. The National conferences (NMUN-DC; NMUN-NY) are an opportunity to truly emulate the United Nations. They get a true, proper experience of representing a country in the UN, and have speeches, working papers, and voting sessions. In addition, members meet dozens of people from around the whole world, and form connections that last forever.
