Bob Draughon

Bob Draughon was born in Winfield, Illinois, and he joined the Army in 2016 as an indirect fire infantryman, also known as a mortarman. He spent 3.5 years training and stationed at Fort Benning GA as a member of 3d Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment where he did two deployments to Afghanistan and Syria. Following his time instructing both at home and overseas he discovered a passion for education. Following his separation from the Army in late 2019 he took the time to travel the country and plan his next steps. After visiting CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø and falling in love with the Rocky Mountains he decided to enroll as a student at CU class of 2024. He is currently seeking degrees in History and Economics and hopes to become a K-12 educator where he can help guide young people towards achieving their own unique goals.
