Chengliang Fan is a Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Ph.D. student from听Guangzhou University. His research focuses on modeling听chiller plants using Modelica and optimizing chiller plants using cooling prediction model control.

He was a part of the SBS lab in 2020-21 as a visiting scholar and published the work he performed during this time under the title of听"Open-source Modelica models for the control performance simulation of chiller plants with water-side economizer"听in the journal of Applied Energy.
