Education

  • B.S., Chemical Engineering, Auburn University (2014)

Chris is pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (expected 2018). He is from Mandeville, LA, a town just north of New Orleans. He chose to attend the University of Colorado primarily due to his experience as a C2B2 REU student in 2013, where he studied biomass fast pyrolysis in Al Weimer’s group, mentored by group alumnus, Aaron Palumbo. Chris’s current research involves using atomic layer deposition to improve the processing of technical ceramics and enhance their applicability to direct ink writing technologies. He is also using density functional theory to investigate the effects of impurities on various technical ceramic properties.
