Theodore (Theo) Champ has a BS from CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø in Chemical Engineering. He joined the lab in his sophomore year of undergrad assisting Sarah Bull with DFT calculations, studying activation energies of interstitial movements of hydrogen ions through Cermet materials and stability of nitrides. Since then he has also assisted with the operation and repair of ALD reactors. Following his graduation in May 2020, Theo was hired on as a professional research assistant in the group, performing technoeconomic analysis for low TRL grants and managing external analytical work. In his free time, Theo enjoys skiing, hiking, and playing various instruments.
