Associate Dean for Graduate Education and mechanical engineering听Professor Massimo Ruzzene听was听elected a Fellow of the Society of Engineering Science (SES).
The听society听elects between one and three fellows per year and has a membership of roughly 1,000 scientists. An SES Fellow is someone distinguished in a field in which the society has interest听who has been a member of the society for at least five years听and whose contributions to SES听and the technical community have justified this honor.
About the Society of Engineering Science
SES promotes the development and strengthening of the interfaces between various disciplines in engineering, sciences, mathematics, and related fields. This vision remains at the core of SES today and听is key to many advances that the engineering sciences can provide to society at large. The SES also organizes an annual SES conference, a meeting for those working in mechanics. Last year, over fifteen听CU 麻豆官网 faculty attended.听
