The CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø Puksta scholars had a fantastic retreat at NCAR on August 27, 2016.  We welcomed 9 new scholars to our family and filled the day with team-building, stories, workshop sessions, good food, and of course, the blind hike. The scholars were fortunate to have Elvira Ramos of the Community Foundation of Â鶹¹ÙÍø County and Manuel SiFuentes of the Â鶹¹ÙÍø County Latino Task Force and CU Engage who offered a broad vision of potential community partners.  Norma Johnson led a powerful session on privilege and passion.  Advisers Elaina Verveer and Jenn Ciplet along with John Mulstay and NiChel Meis from the Puksta Foundation made this a memorable event.   Â
