Aun H. Ali and Stephanie Su win Dean's Innovation Fund grant
As part of their work on the DEI submcommittee of the Arts and Sciences Faculty Senate Aun Hasan Ali, assistant professor of religious studies, and Stephanie Su, assistant professor of art history, have been awarded a $33,500 grant from the Dean's Innovation Fund. The grant establishes a partnership between CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø and BVSD to address the disparity between the percentage of Latino students on campus and students of color more generally in Â鶹¹ÙÍø County. This partnership will create two outreach programs: (1) direct support for the low-income students with necessary resources, and (2) a faculty-student mentoring program.Â
