Several AuD students were chosen for LEND fellowships.Ìý LEND () programs offer interdisciplinary training with the intent of improving the health of children with disabilities. Graduate students who are chosen as LEND fellows take on additional coursework and clinical experiences so as to help them become leaders in their fields as well as to become clinicians with a high level of competence working with children who have disabilities and their families.Ìý Twelve LEND programs across the country have been chosen to receive supplemental monies to expand pediatric audiology training efforts. The University of Colorado and JFK Partners are one of those 12 programs. AuD students who are taking part in this prestigious development program as LEND fellows are: Kendra Huskey, Ajiana Zanders, Kaylee Watson, Zoe Boxer, and Mari Peterman.
