Spread Love, Save Lives: CU 鶹 Staff Council Hosts Blood Drive Feb 6-8 2024
Get ready to make a meaningful impact and show the love this February! CU 鶹 Staff Council is excited to announce an upcoming Blood Drive on campus from February 6 to February 8, 2024. This initiative not only allows us to contribute to a life-saving cause but also emphasizes the importance of community and compassion.
This year's Blood Drive is more than just a health initiative; it's a celebration of love and community. With February being the month of love, what better way to express it than by giving the gift of life? By participating in the Blood Drive, we come together as a community to support one another and those in need.Participants of the blood drive will receive two free tickets to the CU Women’s Basketball game against Washingtonon Thursday, February 29th.
Blood donation is a simple yet powerful way to make a difference in someone's life. Each donation can save up to three lives, making a direct impact on individuals facing medical emergencies, surgeries, or chronic illnesses. By participating, we embody the spirit of compassion and demonstrate our commitment to the well-being of our broader community.

How to prepare:
- Review eligibility criteria:
- Eat a healthy meal and stay hydrated before your donation appointment!
- Bring a valid photo ID.
- Try and get a good night’s sleep the day before
You can also donate at several other Vitalant locations; just use the code “0248” when making an appointment on the Vitalant website so your donation is attributed to CU.
