The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Campus Wellness Wednesday program on May 14 will feature the third annual Poker Walk from noon to 1 p.m. beginning and ending outside the Recreation Center.

Staff and faculty will walk or run to five designated campus locations to pick up a playing card. Those drawing the best five-card poker hands will win prizes and everyone will receive a prize for participating. Juice and water will be served at each station on the route.

This yearÂ’s poker walk will include a fund-raising effort for Â鶹¹ÙÍøÂ’s Carmel House. Voluntary cash donations will be collected by the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Campus Staff Council outreach committee to send the Carmel House softball team to the Special Olympics.

A 20- to 30-minute ongoing walking program called Walking for Your Health is held each Monday and Wednesday at 7:05 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. The campus program began in February and welcomes new participants at any time. The walkers meet in front of Balch Fieldhouse by the buffalo statue to walk outdoors or inside the fieldhouse during bad weather.
