The University of Colorado at Â鶹¹ÙÍø spring blood drive will be held on Feb. 23, 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the University Memorial Center west ballroom.
Donors may sign up for an appointment by coming to the UMC Loggia Feb. 17, 18, 19 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by calling 303-492-5473 through Feb. 22 at noon. Walk-ins will be accepted.
Donors should be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be in one of the at-risk behavior groups. They should eat within four hours of donating and drink lots of fluids before and after donating.
Each donation takes about 45 to 50 minutes and will help from one to three patients who need blood. Belle Bonfils Blood Center supplies the blood to 80 area hospitals and other hospitals throughout the state.
The blood drive is being sponsored by Â鶹¹ÙÍø Staff Council, Alpha Phi Omega, Arnold Air Society, Panhellenic, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Intrafraternity Council and Belle Bonfils Community Blood Center.
