The Student Diversity Forum at the University of Colorado at Â鶹¹ÙÍø will host the Sixth Annual Undergraduate Student Diversity Conference on March 9-10 titled "The Evolution of Revolution: Does Society Really Change?"
All events will be held in the University Memorial Center and are free and open to the public.
The diversity conference is one of the only academic conferences in the country that is entirely student organized.
"We have a tendency to forget that students have a fresh and powerful voice when it comes to discussing diversity," conference coordinator Robert Espinoza said.
The conference will address issues around race, class and gender in various panels and workshops including women's reproductive rights, progressive political organizing and multi-cultural education.
"The breadth and range of the topics submitted for presentation at this conference demonstrates how important it is for our university to listen to students," Espinoza said.
