A memorial service for Justin Colonna, of Eugene, Ore., the University of Colorado at Â鶹¹ÙÍø student presumed killed in an avalanche in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area on Dec. 18 is being held Saturday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Old Main Chapel on the CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø campus.

Colonna, 23, a fifth-year senior at CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø majoring in communications and humanities, was born on Feb. 26, 1976. He was president of the Humanities Club at CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø and worked in the security department at Norlin Library and as a tutor in the Science Discovery program during the summer.

Survivors include his father, Jerome, of Redmond, Ore.; mother and stepfather Susan and Charles Lange of Springfield, Ore.; sister, Ann, of Eugene; four grandparents, three aunts, four uncles and many friends.
