WHO: University of Colorado at Â鶹¹ÙÍø student volunteers will assist Â鶹¹ÙÍøÂ’s Community Food Share at MunsonÂ’s Farm, east of Â鶹¹ÙÍø.
WHAT: A community service project for members of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, who will glean surplus pumpkins for Munson Farm to help feed needy residents in Â鶹¹ÙÍø County.
WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 8 a.m.
WHERE: Corner of 75th Street and Valmont Road, MunsonÂ’s fresh vegetable stand.
WHY: Members of the fraternity look for projects that help local nonprofit organizations. Community Food Share contacted the CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø Office of Community Affairs looking for volunteers to help glean the extra produce from the fields.
