The University of Colorado at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Outreach Committee and Office of Community Affairs are sponsoring "TeacherÂ’s Night" at CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø for teachers and students in Â鶹¹ÙÍø Valley and St. Vrain Valley school districts to provide information about the wealth of outreach programs designed specifically for K-12 teachers and students.

The program will be held Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the CU Museum of Natural History on the CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø campus.

Teachers and students will be able to pick up teaching materials and talk with representatives from more than a dozen CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø outreach programs offering table displays. The evening will include demonstrations, on-the-spot sign-ups for outreach programs, door prizes and free pizza.

Outreach programs attending "TeacherÂ’s Night" include the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence, Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, CU Art Galleries, CU Heritage Center, CU Museum of Natural History, East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Hughes Science Initiative, Literacy and Learning for Life, Roots and Shoots, Science Discovery, Theatre and Dance Department Outreach, Teaching East Asia, University Libraries Outreach, Virtual Chautauqua and the CU4K12 Web site.
