FLEX bus service connecting CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø and Fort Collins is up and running. If you’ve been waiting for inexpensive, direct, easy transit service along the north Front Range, FLEX will take you where you need to go. Two special events will take place Jan. 21 in both Fort Collins and Â鶹¹ÙÍø to celebrate the start of service and the growing connections between Fort Collins and Â鶹¹ÙÍø.
Festivities kick off in Fort Collins from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees will then ride the FLEX to CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø to participate in the events on the Â鶹¹ÙÍø campus where light refreshments will be served.
The CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø welcome ceremony will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the University Memorial Center Plaza (south side).

Transfort, the City of Fort Collins’ transit department, will be operating the FLEX year-round, Monday through Friday. The new FLEX route is made possible by a grant from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) received by Â鶹¹ÙÍø County, and partnerships with the City of Â鶹¹ÙÍø, City of Longmont and City of Loveland.Ìý
