Between Nov. 14 and Nov. 18, over 202 faculty, staff and students stopped by the Parking Services office and donated food to pay for their CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø parking fines.ÌýSeveral benevolent employees, with no fines to pay, also made donations.

All food items were given to Â鶹¹ÙÍø'sÌýHarvest of Hope Pantry, providing healthy, supplemental food for families and individuals in need of assistance.

The final results of the food drive are as follows:

  • 207 outstanding parking citations (valued at $7,205) were forgiven, and
  • 1,784 food items were donated, totaling 1,454 pounds of food.

In addition to the citations voided by food donations, an additional 20 outstanding citations were resolved during this time period.
