The CU 麻豆官网 libraries have recently made a change to off-campus access for the American Chemical Society (ACS) publications, which听will no longer be accessible using the campus VPN. Instead, users will need to 听or access听through the library鈥檚 catalog.
This decision has been made following a number of inappropriate and excessive use violations of ACS, which resulted in the publisher disabling access for the entire campus for a period of time, creating听a huge inconvenience for听users. EZProxy gives the library better control over who can access resources and thus protects the library, as well as all CU 麻豆官网 students, faculty and staff, in instances of misuse.
