Recently, you received emergency notifications from CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø when a man, who had attacked someone with a sword in Â鶹¹ÙÍø, was last seen on the northern border of the campus. Even though the initial incident did not occur on campus, the notice was sent because it was possible he was hiding on or adjacent to campus.Ìý

Now that the event is over, it's a good time to make sure your information is in the campus alert system correctly. If you received text messages during that event or during the delayed start earlier this week, you should be set. But if you didn’t receive a text message during either event, Ìýand follow the steps on that page to update your information.

If you live off campus, each city has its own emergency notification system to reach cellular devices. To find out how to register your cell number to your address, do an online search for your city and “emergency notification.â€
