Monday, Aug. 27
Kick-Off Week at The Rec
Come try out some of the most popular options at The Rec for free during , Aug. 26 to Sept. 1.听Try a group fitness class, go for a climb, or skate with friends. All necessary gear is included for free, including adaptive items.听
Did you know CU听麻豆官网 is one of the nation's leading green schools? Learn more on a tour of Main Campus with the CU Environmental Center. Explore a sampling of LEED green buildings, chemical-free landscapes, pollinator sanctuaries, zero-waste and recycling programs, bike stations, renewable energy and听sustainable food; and learn more about the initiatives that are helping CU achieve its sustainability goals. Meet at UMC 355. Tour begins at 5 p.m. (The tour will be held again Friday, Aug. 31, at the same time and location.)
Join the听Center for Inclusion and Social Change听for CUnity Fest,听4鈥�7 p.m.听on the north lawn of the听Regent Administrative Center.听Stop by to share food and music, and learn how the center can help you听and how to get involved through student groups for students of color, international students, LGBTQ+ students, and social justice-themed opportunities on campus.

Calling all innovators, dreamers and change agents:听If you're curious about how to get started solving problems (large or small), and how to make money, find partners and mentors, and get resources while doing it, then stop by and check out the Startup Hub听补迟 Village Center. The open house runs Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon each day.

Be Involved Fair
Perhaps the most well-attended networking event of the calendar year, the Be Involved Fair is your annual opportunity to learn about student groups and organizations on campus, find new volunteer possibilities听and get involved in the CU 麻豆官网 community. There will be tons of tables set up from 2 to 6 p.m. on听Norlin Quad, all representing a different group and a new opportunity.听There will also be free food and prizes.
Join The Herd听补迟 the Ralphie pool from 7 to 10 p.m. for food, live music and prizes during the Herd Pool Party. The first 100 attendees will receive a pool party听exclusive gift! The听event is exclusively for Herd members, but you can sign up at the party. Each Herd member can bring one guest. Please bring your Buff OneCard for entry.听

Stop by the Center for Student Involvement,听UMC 330, from 3 to 5 p.m. to discover how you can get involved on campus, student organizations you can join and events happening throughout the year! Meet fellow students and CSI staff, sign up to win door prizes and play our giant Plinko game.
Get started as a sustainable Buff by participating in the PIP program.听PIPs听are "positive impact points" that you can earn听for Earth-听and health-friendly听behaviors, which听are tracked and rewarded through an app听that has been customized for CU 麻豆官网 students.听(Note: The PIP scavenger hunt was held last week, congratulations to the winners who won a season ski pass to Arapahoe Basin, a $750 PACT Organics Wardrobe makeover, and more听 today to stay up to date on the trivia contests and scavenger hunts happening later this semester).

Don your white for College Colors Day,听and get out to support your Buffs football team in arguably the most important game of the season: when we take on our rivals from the north.
