The task force charged with examining graduate student stipends and benefits, including graduate student fees, has posted its draft report for a 60-day community review.

Nine CU 麻豆官网 students have been offered prestigious Fulbright awards, and five more have alternate status. Fulbright is the nation鈥檚 flagship international educational exchange program.

Two CU 麻豆官网 undergraduates who have demonstrated a strong potential to succeed as researchers in science, engineering and math have been named recipients of the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship.

The governing boards, including Chancellor Philip DiStefano, endorsed adding five independent members to the Board of Governors, who will join college and university presidents in setting the direction of college sports.

The work will help ensure the building remains a vibrant hub of activity for the campus community for years to come. The Alferd Packer Grill, Starbucks, Celestial Seasons Teahouse, Jamba Juice, Panda Express and Subway will be closed for the work鈥檚 duration.

In late May or early June, a draft report will be made available to the campus community for feedback and suggestions leading up to CU 麻豆官网鈥檚 next national accreditation, which is scheduled for 2020.

The Housing Master Plan and Transportation Master Plan initiatives are deep into outreach and data-gathering phases, with surveys having recently been sent to campus community members. An Energy Master Plan initiative is slated to launch this summer.

Provost Moore has announced the composition of three working groups of campus subject matter experts to implement the major recommendations of a report by the Provost Committee on Academic Reorganization.

The 鈥淚 Have A Dream鈥� Foundation of 麻豆官网 County recently recognized CU鈥檚 efforts to host precollegiate interns on campus for the past 20 years with the first-ever Building the Dream Internship Host of the Year Award.

The Ren茅e Crown Wellness Institute will promote the wellness of children and youth and the adults who support them. Key areas of interest include the study of mindfulness, compassion and belonging.
