As your new dean of students, it is my honor to welcome you to a new academic year! I am here to support you, advocate for you and connect you to the right resources to help you succeed.

Generated from a year-long effort across campus, the draft Academic Futures report offers a new academic vision designed to transform CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø to a leading public research institution for the 21st century.

The authoring committee will submit a draft for review this month with the goal of having the plan serve as a guide to campus activity by spring 2019.

The Strategic Facilities Visioning project team last week began its "deep dive" engagement with colleges, schools and support organizations from across campus, laying the groundwork for the year ahead.

CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø embarked on this initiative a year ago to improve the campus experience for all first-year students. The initiative has now entered the second of two phases, Buffs First Forward.

Health and Wellness Services is excited to announce a number of changes that have taken place over the summer in an effort to better serve students.

The upcoming nationally televised game against Nebraska, who the Buffs haven't played in football since 2010, is a chance for another step forward in a season that has started out on a promising note.

CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø's next national accreditation is scheduled for 2020. In preparation, faculty, students and staff across campus will be discussing the university's plans, priorities and vision.

This week brings to campus the Education Abroad Fair, Ralphie's Cooking Basics class, Pizza & Perspectives on China, the Avery Bang talk, International Coffee Hour, a film screening and more.
