With offers from the Fulbright program, a number of CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø graduate students and alumni are eyeing research and teaching in such places as the Netherlands, India, France and Chile.

Last year, CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø senior Floyd Pierce, raced around the world for $1 million as a contestant on "The Amazing Race." CBS has aired seven episodes, and, so far, Pierce is still in the game.

With a $30,000 gift from their family foundation, twins Sarah and Stephanie Meyers established the a scholarship fund to support one or two first-year students in financial need.

The CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø cycling team has been named 2017 Road National Champions following an impressive performance at the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships last week.

Last week, CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø Police Department closed four open theft cases with the arrest Robert Thomas Hawley and Ania Y. Schill. And on Tuesday, officers arrested Eric Todd Ditmore after he was reported stealing a bike near Williams Village.

With finals right around the corner, and the last of the snow melted (hopefully), the end of the school year for many is almost here. First and foremost, congratulations on a successful year! A small group of students has been advocating for a fossil-free investment portfolio for the university. On Wednesday, I provided a letter of support to them for their civil discourse and nonviolent approach.

The campus has recently been targeted by malicious emails that attempt to gain access to a recipient’s Google account. The email claims someone shared a Google Doc and invites recipients to open the document in Google Docs, while in fact it is actually a malicious Google app.
