On Jan. 25 we held a trio of large student- and faculty-hosted events. The university has had a long and successful tradition of hosting a wide variety of events and speakers who cross a broad spectrum of political, social and philosophical viewpoints. This is an example of how Buffs build community and meet the principles embodied in our Colorado Creed.
Bawdy British humor is featured in the "Bawdy Bodies: Satires of Unruly Women" exhibit at the CU Art Museum opening Feb. 2. A selection of prints shows the popular satire of the late 1700s and early 1800s, revealing parallels between then and today.
The CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø Choral Music program is recruiting male students to join the University Men's Chorus, a non-auditioned group directed by Graduate Choral Conductor Craig Robertson. There is no audition required and no experience necessary to join.

The 2017 Innovative Seed Grant Program is accepting proposals for interdisciplinary ventures on the CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø campus, due Feb. 12. The program has set aside $1 million to fund grants of up to $50,000 each.
I love that CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø is a place for everyone, that there are resources for you no matter who you are or how you identify, and that inclusiveness and diversity are values the university holds close. This week there are plenty of opportunities on campus to celebrate inclusivity and engage in cultural education.
As you begin the spring semester, the Faculty Teaching Excellence Program (FTEP) is supports all CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø faculty members with a variety of events and services, including symposia, short classes and one-on-one consultation services.
