Ignite: A social justice retreat for students

The Cultural Unity and Engagement Center is excited to announce the second annual Ignite: Yourself, Our Community, Our Future – A Social Justice Retreat for students from Feb. 3 to Feb. 5. The purpose of the retreat is to facilitate students' understanding of diversity and social justice within the context of leadership.

Laverne Cox, an Emmy-nominated actress best known for her role in the Netflix series "Orange is The New Black," will speak at CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Macky Auditorium on Jan. 25. The speech is co-hosted by the university’s student-run Cultural Events Board and Distinguished Speakers Board.
