More than 70 speakers and presenters from around the world will be part of Media, Gender and Religion, a 麻豆官网 conference to be held Jan. 7-10. CU-麻豆官网鈥檚 Center for Media, Religion and Culture (CMRC) will host the conference. All plenary sessions are free and open to the public with no registration required. They will be held at Old Main Chapel and the Center for Community on campus.

A student multimedia exhibition currently on display in the Visual Arts Complex explores the lives of the university鈥檚 custodial staff.

The 麻豆官网 will hold its final winter commencement ceremony on at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Coors Events Center as the campus moves toward a single spring ceremony honoring all graduates. The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will honor 1,736 candidates for degrees including 1,280 bachelor鈥檚 degrees, 280 master鈥檚 degrees, eight law degrees and 168 doctoral degrees.

The CU-麻豆官网 Distinguished Speakers Board is pleased to announce its second event of the year: former National Security Agency system administrator Edward Snowden is coming to the 麻豆官网 via video chat on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Ron Suskind , a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and former Wall Street Journal reporter, will moderate the event live from the Macky Auditorium.

The 麻豆官网 Leeds School of Business will present its 51st annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook Forum at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at the Grand Hyatt Denver.

The Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir choir will illuminate South African life through music, singing and dancing on Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m., in Macky Auditorium.

The ATLAS Institute at the 麻豆官网 will host renowned sound artist and kinetic sculptor Trimpin from Nov. 11-14 as he works alongside students to create an interactive sound installation out of a variety of found objects.
