Join the CU Environmental Center as it launches the new Eco-Engage Events Program on Saturday, Sept. 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program's first excursion will take students on a tour of sustainable and local food systems on campus and in Â鶹¹ÙÍø, including CU dining, the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Farmers' Market, Â鶹¹ÙÍø Food Rescue and two local organic farms. The deadline to enroll is Sept. 6.

With the second week of school wrapping up and many new and returning Buffs settled in, this weekend would be a good time to explore Â鶹¹ÙÍø and the surrounding areas. Housing and Dining Services offers some tips.

The Center for Student Involvement will host a grand opening celebration for its new office and resource center in UMC room 330 on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2 to 4 p.m. Check out the new space and learn what the center can do for you or your student group.

When Daphne Virlar-Knight (EBio’17) graduates in May, she will have spent four years with The Herd, one of CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s largest student groups on campus. The group coordinates several university traditions including the Nearly Naked Mile — the largest student clothing drive at CU, the St. Baldrick’s Day fundraiser for youth cancer survivors, professional development workshops and football tailgates.
