CARES Act Compliance Report

In compliance with reporting requirements established by the CARES Act under Section 15011(b)(2), the following information describes the use of institutional portion funds distributed from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) act.

Overview

The Â鶹¹ÙÍø has been awarded funding through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) as authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES); the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA); and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP).

  • Through the CARES Act (HEERF I), CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø was awarded $18,732,408. As required by the terms of the funding, at least 50% ($9,366,204) of those funds were used to provideÌýEmergency Financial Aid GrantsÌýto students.ÌýThe remaining institutional portion of HEERF funding for CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø is up to $9,366,204.
  • Through CRRSAA (HEERF II), CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø was awarded $28,660,299. As required by the terms of the funding, $9,366,204 of those funds were used to provideÌýEmergency Financial Aid GrantsÌýto students.ÌýThe remaining institutional portion of HEERF funding for CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø is up to $19,294,095.
  • Through ARP (HEERF III), CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø was awarded $51,005,536. As required by the terms of the funding, at least $25,557,767 of those funds are being used to provideÌýEmergency Financial Aid GrantsÌýto students.ÌýThe remaining institutional portion of HEERF funding for CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø is up to $25,447,769.
