Courses in our NAIS certificate programs aim to strengthen your knowledge of Indigenous communities and sovereignty.ÌýYou will be encouraged to take part of an ongoing global transformation in our understanding of history, colonialism, race and ethnicity, identity, language, arts, nationhood, citizenship, law, religion, politics, ecology, resources, climate change, and transnational relationships. During my research, I found myself confused on how to put into words my Indigenous knowledge on paper. The NAIS certificate gave me courses, colleagues, and resources for articulating and understanding my experiences.
