Your pathway to CU Engineering, made seamless!

The Â鶹¹ÙÍø offers multiple pathways for Colorado Community College students aligned with the CCCS Associate of Engineering Science (AES) degrees now offered.ÌýStudents can take advantage of a clear, transparent pathway that aligns with all CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø engineering degree programs listed below in these approved pathways.

Currently, the Â鶹¹ÙÍø'sÌýCollege of Engineering and Applied Science offers the most AES pathways of any engineering program in Colorado!ÌýÌý

Below is a list of the degrees offered.ÌýUse the drop-down to view the degree requirements and links to CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø engineering departments.

Note: These degree pathways are offered at participatingÌýColorado Community Colleges. Any student interested in these degree pathwaysÌýmust check with their academic advisor at their community college to apply for this degree.Ìý

This is a multi-major pathway that applies to all degree programs not specifically articulated by major.
Note: this pathway does not guarantee a specific number of credit hours to be completed once a student transfers to CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø, as this pathway contains multiple majors.Ìý

Please check with CU Engineering (CEASadmissions@colorado.edu) for any questions regarding this pathway.

General AES Degree Requirements

This pathway maps directly to our degree in architectural engineering.ÌýStudents should expect 68 credit hours remaining at CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø to complete this degree, after completing these requirements.Ìý

Note: This pathway creates exceptions in our normal ArchE curriculum where students would be taking co-requisite courses that are normally prerequisites at CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø in the junior and senior year of this curriculum.ÌýThis results in students taking senior design to be the team lead in only construction, structures, or electrical, and would not have the ability to be team leads in mechanical, or lighting, due to prerequisite courses being taken concurrently in those areas.ÌýÌý
