Associate Professor of Piano David Korevaar performs two of Liszt鈥檚 Swiss pieces:听Eglogue听补苍诲听Mal du pays. The first is an evocation of spring (a nice relief after the听Vall茅e d鈥橭bermann); the second, based on a听Ranz des vaches听that Liszt evidently liked well enough to recycle many years later in his famous听Nuages Gris, is filled with nostalgia and longing.
