SPA 2024

In summer 2023, the College of Music and Sphinx Performance Academy (SPA) partnered to provide a full-scholarship intensive summer chamber music and solo performance program focused on cultural diversity for string musicians ages 11-17; in 2024, our college again hosted this nationally acclaimed program on the CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø campus. The SPAÌýoffers a curriculum that includes lessons, master classes, recitals, career enrichment sessions and mentorship tailored to each student.

Summer Master of Music Education

The Summer MMEÌýdegree at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø is designed to address a variety of interests, needs and areas of expertise of K-12 teachers. Students working toward an MME degree complete 12 hours of study in music education, 12 hours of study in music and six hours of open electives.
