Gregory Gisbert is a musician with more than 40 years of professional experience as a performer, guest soloist, studio musician, clinician and educator. He has held featured soloist and regular, co-principal positions in the Grammy Award-winning ensembles of Maria Schneider and Roy Hargrove.

Gisbert has toured, recorded and performed with jazz legends including Horace Silver, Buddy Rich, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall Jazz Orchestra, Frank Sinatra Orchestra, Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Maynard Ferguson, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Dave Grusin, Dizzy Gillespie Alumni All Stars and the Lincoln Center All Stars. He shared the stage with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga for the PBS special “Cheek to Cheek.â€

As a commercial and freelance musician, Gisbert has collaborated with Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Mel Torme, Harry Connick Jr., Paul Anka, Liza Minnelli, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick and Clint Eastwood. His studio work includes contributions to numerous movie soundtracks and sports themes.

In addition to his performance career, Gisbert has served as a teacher, coach, artist in residence, guest clinician and academic advisor at multiple universities, conservatories, high schools and middle schools.
