For three days, from February 14th to 16th, 2013, the CU campus and the College of Music will open its doors to the guitar world. The CU Guitar Studio and the College of Music will present a unique, exciting and unprecedented event 鈥� The First CU International Guitar Festival & Competition.

The other change coming this semester is that the 鈥淓ntrepreneurial Thought of the Week鈥� is going to start coming out as a separate email, probably later in the week. It鈥檚 my hope that this will make the reading of the UPBEAT! a little quicker & easier, and also allow the 鈥淭hought鈥� to generate more dialogue. So keep your eyes out for that!

World renowned soprano Martina Arroyo will be presenting a master class for CU students on the evening of Saturday January 26 from 5-7 PM in the Opera Theater, which will be free and open to the public.
