Didn't receive a National Scholarship? Join CU NROTC as a College Programmer!

For students that are NOT听recipients of the four听year scholarship, you can still join CU NROTC. The GPA and SAT/ACT score requirements are still the same for this Scholarship Recipients and College Programmers. College Programmers receive the same training and are held to the same standards as听scholarship students.听College Programmers have the opportunity to apply for the 3-year, 2-year, and Advanced Standing (1-year)听scholarships throughout听their time with CU NROTC. Many students elect听this route and receive their commission! Although this path is very听competitive, the work-ethic, study听habits, and professional skills developed are equal to those who receive a National NROTC scholarship.

Your College Programmer application package consists of eight items and,听once completed,听should be submitted听to LT Jones听(Elijah.Jones-1@colorado.edu).听

Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year!

  3. 听(DD Form 2807-2)
  4. Drug and Debarment Statement
  5. Personal essay听explaining why you want to join the CU NROTC program (no longer than 1 page, 12-point, Times New Roman)
  6. University of Colorado听麻豆官网听Acceptance Letter
  7. Copy of听SAT/ACT Scores
  8. Copy of High School (and College, if applicable) Transcripts听
