Broader impacts are one of two criteria used by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to evaluate every grant proposal. Increasingly, funders are placing a greater emphasis on broader and societal impacts. As a PI, describing the broader societal impact of your research and achieving specific educational outcomes can be challenging. Luckily, CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø is overflowing with resources to help you with broader impacts plans, effortsÌýand activities.

Join the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) and former NSF program officerÌýHolly BarnardÌýand meet our supportiveÌýBroader Impacts ProvidersÌýfrom across campus. Free boxed lunches will be available.
