The honor recognizes and celebrates her accomplishments at the international, national, state and local levels in support of information literacy and learning.

At the April Board of Regents meeting, Chancellor DiStefano and Senior Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer Kelly Fox proposed a 2 percent merit pool for classified staff and university staff. The Office of the Provost is coordinating a test deployment of eportfolio technology in 2016-2017. While the concept of electronic portfolios for students has been around for a number of years, the technology has only recently improved to the point where it is easy for faculty to adopt a platform that their students could easily integrate into their classroom environments.

'Dreamers' visit CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø April 27-28 to get taste of college life

Nearly 500 middle school students from Angevine Middle School in Lafayette are heading to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø on April 27 and 28 to get a taste of college life. The sixth- and seventh-graders will do hands-on science projects, visit the CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø Museum of Natural History, participate in dance workshops, and watch a rousing theater production about the U.S. Presidents. Faculty and staff from the museum, Science Discovery, the Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community, and the Department of Theatre and Dance will be leading the sessions.

Construction on the Baseline underpass to start next week

April 21, 2016

Construction of the new Baseline Road pedestrian and bicycle underpass is scheduled to start Monday, April 25. Phase one will see off-peak delays, beginning after 8:30 a.m. and ending before 3:30 p.m. Phase two, beginning in June, will see significant traffic impacts.
