Campus and city police to step up enforcement of city's crosswalk laws

April 8, 2016

Â鶹¹ÙÍø and city of Â鶹¹ÙÍø police will step up enforcement of the city’s traffic laws in and around several of Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s top locations for motor vehicle collisions involving a bicyclist or pedestrian beginning Monday, April 11. As part of the Heads Up Â鶹¹ÙÍø crosswalk safety campaign, officers from the two departments will be at select intersections around the CU campus to give out warnings and issue tickets.

Michael Kercheval named executive director of CU Real Estate Center

David Ikenberry, dean of the Leeds School of Business at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø, today announced the appointment of global business leader Michael P. Kercheval as executive director of the CU Real Estate Center (CUREC). The appointment is effective July 1.

Three CU-Â鶹¹ÙÍø students win prestigious Goldwater scholarships

Half of this year’s six Colorado-based winners of the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship attend the Â鶹¹ÙÍø. The scholarship is worth up to $7,500 and recognizes sophomores and juniors who have achieved high academic merit in math, science and engineering and who are expected to be leaders in their fields.
